The church is a protected structure together with the priests\u2019 house and parochial house which form part of the original ensemble. <\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"ga-IE\">New additions were required to enhance the ongoing use of the church and parochial house, and to facilitate some increased and more diversified functions. <\/span><\/span> <span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"ga-IE\">In conforming with best conservation practice, the new additions adopt a respectful attitude to the original composition<\/span><\/span><span style=\"font-family: Times New Roman, serif;\"><span lang=\"en-IE\"> while the use of traditional detailing allows these to remain distinct and discernible as later work.
