The Parade House, Kilkenny

A Georgian town house built in1790 (a protected structure) which served as an estate office for the Ormonde estate at Kilkenny Castle. The building also has reputed connections with Sir Hudson Lowe, warden of Emperor Napoleon Bonaparte at St. Helen’s. The works involved comprehensive conservation works to the roofs, chimney stacks, masonry parapets and repairs to internal water-damaged building fabric.
